We’ve talked so much this year about how much change retailers continue to manage and prepare for. There’s been a definite disruption in how customers interact with a brand, what abilities retailers have to understand their customers and how to best leverage their customer insights. The customer journey has evolved, both inside and outside of a retail location, but the most exciting action is with how retailers are engaging with technological advancements.
We’re keeping those conversations going as CDW gears up for the National Retail Federation’s Annual Convention and Expo — known better as Retail’s Big Show — I wanted to share with you some of the things I’m looking forward to learning, and a few events and opportunities I hope you’ll keep an eye out for if you attend.
What’s This All About?
Now in its 106th year, Retail’s Big Show is the largest retail trade show of the year, so where better to see and hear about the latest in retail transformation? This year marks CDW’s third year at the show, and we’re planning a great experience. You can visit us at Booth #3853 to talk to retail technology experts and discover how CDW’s SmartRetail Solutions can deliver seamless in-store experiences to your business, no matter how large or small. As our official Integrated Solutions launch, it is very exciting to showcase this for our customer, and for the rest of the NRF audience. Visitors will receive a personalized tour and get an up-close look at the technology that makes up this SmartRetail solution set, designed to provide retailers with greater insights while also improving the overall customer experience.
More to Come
On Monday, Jan. 16, our own Tom DeCoster, VP Services and Solutions, and Karen Bird, VP Information Systems for Buffalo Wild Wings, will present at one of the Exhibitor Insights Session, outlining the big shift that’s taking place in retail technology and customer engagement and how retailers can design, deploy and manage fully integrated solutions to manage it all.
We’ve set up a page at cdw.com/NRF to keep you current on all of our plans we have for the show. Keep visiting throughout the next several weeks on the key solutions we will feature, our partners who will join us in the booth, and even schedule your tour or customer meetings.
Can’t make it to the show? You can also visit our page to download a copy of The Connected Retailer IT Guide, which details how technology is reshaping the retail landscape and how you can get started in providing your customers with a seamless shopping experience. Embracing new technology solutions doesn’t just help you keep pace with a changing marketplace, it can help you stand out from the competition.
No matter whether we’ll see you in New York in January for NRF’s event or simply want to learn more about the connected retail landscape, let us show you how we’ve helped retailers of all sizes tackle IT challenges with integrated solutions and services that attract new shoppers, expand engagement and drive revenue.
